What does a website actually cost
It depends on the page count and whether you need bookings, e-commerce or a customer login. A straightforward site for a Lethbridge trade, clinic or shop is a very different number from a multi-location booking system. We quote a fixed price against an agreed scope rather than an hourly rate that drifts, and you have that number before you commit.
Is it worth it in a market this size
Often more so, not less. Two hundred and sixty people a month searching for web design here tells you businesses are looking, and the low competition means the ranking work that follows is cheaper than it would be in Calgary. A smaller market is a disadvantage on volume and an advantage on cost. The maths usually lands in your favour.
Do I need a rebuild or just a fix
Often just a fix. If the structure is sound and it is only slow, dated or missing pages, that is a fraction of the cost of starting over. We will tell you which you are looking at even though the rebuild is the bigger job for us.
Will I lose my Google rankings
Not if it is done properly. Every existing URL is mapped to its new home with a permanent redirect before launch. Rankings usually wobble for a week or two and then settle. The sites that get hurt are launched without a redirect map, which is preventable.
You are not in Lethbridge
No. Our offices are Edmonton and Calgary, and we work with clients across the province. Everything runs on calls, screen shares and a staging link you can watch, which is how most of this work happens now regardless of the distance. Same time zone, same province, no offshore contractors.
Can you write the content
Yes, and it is usually the right call. We interview you, write it, and you edit. The alternative, where the client promises to send copy, is the single most common reason a website project stalls for three months.
