Dental & Denture Clinic Marketing — Alberta

People Do Not Choose A Dentist. They Choose The One They Trust Fastest.

Somebody with a cracked tooth searches, glances at the map, reads two reviews and calls. That decision takes under a minute and happens before they ever see your website. Almost everything that decides it is fixable, and most of it is free.

Where Dental Marketing Goes Wrong

Three Things We Find In Almost Every Practice

None of these are about how the site looks. All three cost booked chair time every week.

01

The Map Pack Is Left To Chance

Three practices sit in the box above the results and take most of the phone calls. Position there is decided mostly by proximity, categories, and review activity — not by your website. Most practices have never deliberately worked on any of it.

02

Every Service On One Page

Implants, Invisalign, emergency care and hygiene all sold on a single services page. Someone searching “emergency dentist Edmonton” at 9pm lands on a page about six other things. High-value services deserve their own page, written for the person searching that specific thing.

03

After-Hours Enquiries Go Nowhere

Dental pain does not keep office hours. A form that emails an inbox nobody opens until Monday loses the patient to whoever answered first. We test the booking path from outside the practice on a real phone, at a realistic hour.

A Real Audit, With The Awkward Bits Left In

Two business days. No deck.

We will show you where you sit in the map pack today across your catchment, which practices are above you and why, how your review activity compares, and what it would realistically take to change it. If what you are doing now is working, we will say so.

  • Your map pack position across your actual catchment, not just your postcode
  • How your review pace compares with the practices ranking above you
  • Your booking path tested from outside, after hours

The Work

What A Month Actually Looks Like

Not a retainer that produces a report. Six things that happen every month.

Google Business Profile

Categories chosen against what actually ranks for dentistry in your part of the city, services and hours filled properly, photos added on a schedule, questions answered. The highest-return asset a practice owns, and it is free.

Reviews, As A Habit

An automatic request by text after the appointment, when people are most likely to say yes. Every review answered, including the difficult ones — prospective patients read the reply more carefully than the review.

A Page Per High-Value Service

Implants, orthodontics, emergency care, sedation — one strong page each, written for how people actually search rather than how the profession names things.

Enquiries That Reach A Human

Calls and forms routed into a system that responds within seconds and flags anything nobody has answered, including out of hours. This is where most dental marketing spend quietly leaks away.

Compliant By Default

Copy written to respect the advertising standards dental professionals work under in Alberta — no guarantees of outcome, no unverifiable superlatives, no before-and-after claims we cannot support. Your practice reviews everything before it goes live.

Reporting In Plain English

Calls, forms and booked appointments month over month, next to what we changed. If the number that pays your staff is not moving, we would rather you heard it from us early.

How We Start

The First Ninety Days

Dental SEO is slow, but it is not vague. Here is what happens and roughly when.

Measure Before Touching Anything

Map pack position across your catchment, profile scored against the practices above you, a technical crawl, and your booking path tested from outside after hours. You keep the findings whether or not you continue.

Days 1–7

Fix The Profile And The Front Desk

Profile rebuilt, review requests automated after appointments, technical faults cleared, and call and form tracking switched on so from here we are counting booked chair time rather than guessing.

Days 8–35

Build, Then Hold

Service pages written properly, reviews arriving weekly, monthly reporting on calls and bookings. Map pack movement often shows by week six. Organic is a three month question.

Days 36–90

Common Questions

Your Questions, Answered

How long before I see something

Google Business Profile and review work often shows movement in four to six weeks because it does not depend on a ranking change. Organic rankings are a three month question. If someone promises page one in thirty days, ask what happens if it does not work and get it in writing.

Do you understand dental advertising rules in Alberta

We write to respect them: no guarantees about clinical outcomes, no unverifiable superlatives such as “best dentist in Edmonton”, and care with before-and-after imagery and testimonials. If your practice has a compliance process or a principal dentist who reviews copy, we work to it. Final responsibility for what you publish stays with the practice.

We already rank for our practice name. Why is that not enough

People searching your practice name have already decided. The patients you are missing are searching the problem — “emergency dentist Edmonton”, “dental implants near me”. Those searches go to whoever has a page and a profile built for that specific thing.

What does it cost

It depends on your catchment, how many locations you run and which services you want to compete for. The proposal comes back with scope, timeline and a number so you can compare it properly against anyone else you are talking to.

Do you lock me into a contract

No. You own the site, the profile, the content and the data, and you can take all of it with you.

Are you actually in Edmonton

Yes — head office at 10460 176 Street NW, and a second office in Calgary. The work is done here, not offshore.

The platform behind the work

Where Dental Chairs Go Empty

A practice with a full schedule and a practice with gaps often market identically. The difference is usually what happens to the people who already raised their hand.

01

The Toothache At Nine On Sunday

Dental emergencies do not respect opening hours. The practice that answers is the practice that treats.

02

The Hygiene Recall That Lapsed

Six months became fourteen. Nobody called, because the recall list lives in the practice software and nothing acts on it.

03

Treatment Accepted, Never Booked

The patient agreed to the crown at the chair and left without a date. That is revenue already sold and not scheduled.

04

The Review Never Requested

Map pack position moves on review count and recency. Most practices ask occasionally, by hand, when someone remembers.

What it does

What LinkBuffer Cloud Handles For A Practice

Answers Emergencies Out Of Hours

An AI voice and chat assistant takes the call, triages urgency and books or escalates, instead of sending it to voicemail.

Works The Recall List

Flags overdue hygiene and re-contacts on a schedule, so recall stops depending on someone having a quiet afternoon.

Chases Unscheduled Treatment

Accepted-but-unbooked treatment gets followed up until it has a date in the book.

Asks For Reviews Automatically

Timed to the appointment, never gated to screen out unhappy patients — gating breaches Google policy and we will not build it.

It replaces a separate CRM, an answering service, a recall tool, an email platform and a review-request subscription.

You own the data. Patient contact records and conversation history remain yours and export in full whenever you ask.

Plan your numbers

What Are Your Slow Replies Actually Costing?

Pick your industry, set your budget, and put in your own numbers. This runs on published Canadian ad costs and industry conversion benchmarks — the sources are listed underneath.

Planning estimate only · built from published benchmarks, not a forecast of your results

What you put into paid search in a month. Leave it where it is if you are only planning.

Your number, not ours. First job, first course of treatment, or lifetime value — whichever you actually manage against.

Of the people who enquire, how many buy. Set this to your own number.

Be honest about evenings and weekends. The 37% default is the share of 2,241 companies that managed it in the Harvard Business Review audit.

The gap, per month

How this is calculated. Clicks = budget ÷ cost per click. Cost per click is the midpoint of Google’s own low and high top-of-page bid estimates for that industry in Canada. Enquiries = clicks × the median Google Ads search conversion rate for that category in the WordStream 2026 benchmark study (13,474 campaigns, April 2025 – March 2026). Enquiries you do not answer quickly are modelled as one seventh as likely to convert, from the Harvard Business Review audit of 2,241 companies, which found firms replying within an hour were roughly seven times likelier to qualify a lead.

Where to be sceptical. That seven-times figure describes a salesperson picking up the phone. An automated first reply is not the same thing, so treat the right-hand column as the size of the opportunity, not a promise. Benchmarks are medians across many advertisers; your own account will differ. Nothing here is a quote.
